Playschool

At Little Human Scholars we understand that children learn best in an interactive environment where they can play, have fun, sing songs and use their imaginations.  This is what our playschool levels 1 and 2 are all about!  Instead of simply focusing on one aspect of teaching, we combine all the motor skills during lessons so the children fully embody what they learn.

We also realize that young minds need frequent breaks in order to more efficiently process what they learn.  Therefore we break up each lesson into two 15 minute slots so the students can better grasp the information presented.

Our playschool teachers all go through a rigorous screening to ensure their skills and energy levels match that of our playschool students.  Playschool 1 consists of children aged 1.5 to 2.5, and Playschool 2 has children aged 3 to 4 years old.  So passionate and enthusiastic playschool teachers is a must!

The beautiful part of our playschool classes is that not only do children learn, develop and grow, but they also ready themselves for kindergarten and preschool by familiarizing with a structured schedule.  Our students learn the following in playschool:

• Letters
• Phonics (with the use of our UK-based learning system called Jolly Phonics)
• Numbers and counting
• General education (such as different forms of transportation, different foods, etc)
• Physical movement/indoor gym class
• Manners and social skills
• Arts and Crafts
• Malaysia, the country they live in and the different people in the country
• Thematic Project ( a monthly themed project the whole school participates in)
• And outdoor free play
